The World of Conscious art life
Zephyr: The mascot
Zephyr is the face and mascot of Conscious art life. He is a horse I’ve drawn and doodled all over the place for a very long time, and he didn’t have a home until I established Conscious art life. He is also used as a tribute to horses and the role they have played in my life. And let’s be real, a character like that can’t exist without his own story. More specifically, a story about perception and realities.
In another dimension where the Earth is youthful and grand, a tribe of people lives among green forests and pale mountains. They worship one of God’s helpers, a helper who you might spot, as he gallops with shooting stars to the edge of the Milky Way. He is the guardian and purifier of this Earth and keeps order within the galaxy in which he was placed.
A young woman by the name of Deklamita is the tribe’s leader. She holds the burden of a terrible loss she suffered one strikingly beautiful and tragic night, as she climbed a mountain with her beloved brother Ayoclaméz, who was meant to become the leader of the tribe. They went stargazing, looking for God’s helper; Zephyr among the shooting stars, but a fatal accident collapsed the night into a scar in Deklamita’s mind that she never recovered from.
By the help of Zephyr, the Bear of Dreams and the Fox of Perception, Deklamita will explore realities within realities and dreams within dreams, as she dives deep within the conscious and subconscious to heal the thing that has haunted her, her entire life.
How to Deal with Hurt
A book I made in times of distress and healing a broken heart, but within those times, there is also great room for inspiration and creation. The Teddy bear in the cold illustrates innocence that has been destroyed and abused, yet, it can be found, healed and mended into something greater.
In some ways, this book acted as a muse for a book that I worked on before this (which I will publish one day, as it’s too amazing to pass).
The book comes from someone who has gone through the journey herself and has helped others on their way. It includes many thoughts and modalities about trauma and healing you might not have heard or read before, and is a good book for those who want to understand the basic principles for recovery in a world that is based on complicated science, but has forgotten its simple and natural roots. You can get it here.
The Conscious Foodie
I thought for a long time that I was going to start a food blog, since I loved to cook, but more than cooking, I wanted to create something very deep that represented values that I cared for. I was pretty fascinated with trash, and on my walks back then, I would always collect as much trash as I could. I even thought about inventing an “elongated arm” I could use as I was riding my horse, and put the garbage in specialized saddlebags; but that invention has yet to come.
Anyhow, fast forward. How could I create something that was related to both trash and cooking? I could create a cookbook and make recipes out of dumpster finds and leftovers, of course! But it needed something more. I had to look to myself and my own relationship with food, as I was binge eating at the time, and thought that the book could be a great fusion between my knowledge of healing and using the concept of going from trash to compost physically, emotionally and spiritually. It all came together, and the journey of myself was very much reflected in my character “Buddha II,” along with other characters that make the reading experience refreshing.
The book has taken many different shapes and forms throughout the years, and was in many ways a test to myself that I could finish a larger piece of work that was entirely my own, and I would say, I succeeded in doing so.
The recipes were not the most important thing in it for me, but creating a book that could metaphorically encompass nature’s most basic and beautiful transformation, inside as well as outside.
To this day, the book still makes me smile, and I don’t think you have read anything like this. If you are interested in reading it, you can get your copy here.
The Conscious Blob
In short, “The blob” is a blob with many questions about life, and yet, it knows a lot. He lives in a simple world and has a direct connection to God, where he likes to explore the valleys and canyons of the conscious, subconscious, mystical and the big questions that existence has a hard time answering. You can see him on his adventures here.
Taschina's Teachings
As someone who has been and studied in the healing industry for most of my life, you can find me speaking about these things and more by going to my YouTube channel, which you can find here.
